How to fix the problem we couldn’t find any drives when installing Windows 10 or windows 11
To fix this issue, you need to load the relevant drivers during the Windows installation process. For the Intel CPU platform, you must manually install Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) driver during the Windows installation process.

1. Download Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) driver from the manufactures website.
2. If you used a USB flash drive to create the Windows 11/10 installation media as well, please copy the entire folder to the same USB flash drive which is created as the Windows 11/10 installation media.
3. On the screen of Where do you want to install Windows and Windows cannot find any drives, please select Load driver
4. Select Browse, then find the copied driver folder and select OK
5. then select Next to install the driver.
6. After the driver installation is completed, the drives will appear normally.

This works people! I have a Dell (but this solution works on other brands as well) and the driver downloaded as an exe. If that’s the case for you as well, open the exe and choose the 'extract' option instead of the ‘install’ option. Copy the extracted content to the bootable USB. Now follow along the instructions in the video, but when selecting the driver folder, go inside the ‘production’ folder and find the folder called ‘VMD’. The correct driver is inside that. Now, again follow along the video.

Excellent help! I do have to point out, the one thing that I didn't get from the get-go: in the installation, you have to drop down all the way to the folder containing the drivers, otherwise the stupid installer can't find it itself. But thank you so much!!!
