The Pacing in this tutorial is awesome! 2:34 video length and all needed info is in there. I learned both about how to build a dry box but maybe even more about how to make a tutorial. Well done, thanks!

No nonsense, no B-roll padding, and easy and simple to follow.

The container is $60, that seems pretty steep for a sterlite container of this size. You can get something similar at The Container Store for $9.09 (sku: 10067984, 11 3/4" x 17 1/2" x 14 5/8") and it's "weather tight" so no gasket is needed.

This is awesome!! Even better for nylon and other exotics. Tired of having to bake mine before printing lol. Might have to make a few of these 😁

I printed some spool holders and placed mine in a old 50 cal ammo storage container and drilled and tapped for some M6 press connectors! Filament is now protected from both light and moisture!

Thank you, straight forward to what I was looking for, I am thinking in this project but with some heating device inside, to cook filament for better results, but will try first with only Silica, really appreciate your help and great video ! greetings from Costa Rica .

Great video and perfect length. So many other dry box videos are 10-15 minutes long.

Exactly what I was looking for. I just happen to have PVC and this exact tote laying around. Great tutorial!

Subscribed! I always support my fellow MC1R people! and of course I've been 3D printing for 4 years and you drybox solution looks really handy.

The storage bin you recommended is "air resistant", not "airtight". Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until I had already built the boxes, and then wondered why the humidity wouldn't go below 30%, when I could get <15% in a ziploc bag. It's better than nothing, but I really wish I had started with a box that was actually airtight.

Very nice design and I almost built one like this but I realized that I'd prefer to have either individual enclosures for each spool or have them run off a ball bearing surface because if you have one spool run out you have to remove the entire pvc shaft for all spools. Thx for the video.
