The Nuvo Clarinéo is lightweight, easy to handle and very durable. It is designed specifically for children or adults who have difficulty handling a full size Bb clarinet. It also provides a perfect stepping stone towards playing other single reed instruments. Transitioning from the Clarinéo to the Bb clarinet or saxophone is quick and easy.

In this short video Bruce shows the basics of how to hold the Clarinéo, how to make a sound and how to play your first 3 notes, E, D and C.

I've just bought a clarinéo and i've so much trouble playing notes from the middle and high register.. no problem with the low register, but it's very difficult, when not impossible, with upper notes. I've played saxophone for 5 years and the embouchure is very similar, but yet, i'm vry surpised by the difficulty i have in the middle and high register. For those who play the clarinéo : did you have the same kind of problem when you started ?

I feel like it is better to just buy a standard clarinet and deal with the fingering then buy this then have to buy a full sized clarinet.
