Very interesting. We r pensioners under EPF scheme. I worked for 37 years and contributed to EPF as per the scheme. I retired in 2017 and got pension of 2440 per month. No increase till now. I was happy when honorable Supreme Court of India given judgment to increase my pension under EPF. But till today no increase and I and lakhs of other people contributed to the economy is living within meger pension . But the people working in government they are protected by government.

Whose money. Government's ? Distribute people's money for government 's favours. Ask if any MP will shelldown their money every month and give it to people.

Of what good is this to private employees and retired non pensioners, we private employees have paid taxes throughout our lives, where do we stand now.
Senior citizens with no pension are paying GST from where this money is going to come from. Just 0.5 percent in bank intrest doesn't help. Its a shame!

Giving pension is extra burden for govt as well as tax payer. Pension should stop. Oppositions are misleading people.

Giving a pension itself is a wrong outdated British era benifit. When the employees are working they are paid a decent salary and benifits. They have to save for their future. If pension is paid like this, any organization will go bankarupt paying for non working retired employees. This has become a huge burden on the people in welfare states around the world, as this can be offset only by higher and higher taxes....

Shut u r mouth indian leaders, public sector unit employees after 33 years service r getting 3000 rs per month as a pension, but we given our share more than that, every govt giving freebies more than 6000rs per family, shame.

Every indian, if he have an income from various source have to pay tax. Every child who buy chocklet is paying tax. Government employee have an income much more than an average income of ordinary people with same qualification. So what great saying that they pay income tax. They are getting enough to make their home, giving education to their children. Etc. After retirement he is getting lot more than what they need , while ordinary person paying tax for ea ch and everything.. So the pention should be equal to every senior citizen present system is unfair.

In this UPS the time must be free. Service time should not be bounded. If one person gets government job only for one year, if he gets retirement in certain time, then he also must gets the full pension, that is 50% from last salary with DA he gained. That is legal system of pension.
