yeah, I had a hole in my right lung and it collapsed very fast. that’s because my body was new and I was only born. I was minutes from death because they didn’t find out for about a week and a half after I was born. it’s scary to think that if I wasn’t treated you wouldn’t see this comment.

After first collapse, 30-50% chance of recurrence. After second collapse at least 70% chance of recurrence.

Surgery can reduce chance of recurrence to less than 5%. I'll be having VATS in Easter.

I had a total left lung trauma pneumothorax last week. I`m fine now but i did some research and they say once happend the pneumothorax will happend again in most cases...Is this available for both patients who had spontaneous PNX and patients who had trauma PNX? I`m worried that this bad condition will occur again out of the blue sky...

I had this before but they didn't put no chest tube or iV on me they just had me with oxygen and kept me for a night.
