What are the benefits of learning the Cornish language?

This reminds me of something that happened to me 10 years ago, on they way to a campsite on the Lizard peninsula. We were heading for Silver Sands. So when I saw the sign Silver Sands along with Gwen Dreath, I thought that Silver Sands was not an unreasonable translation of Gwen Dreath (literally, white beach - Gwen Draeth in Welsh, as I knew). Great, a bilingual name.
Then we came to a fork, just short of the site, which pointed to Gwen Dreath to the left, and Silver Sands to the right. I was very confused. A lady (the owner as it turned out) of Silver Sands saw my confusion, and I explained to her. No-one had ever told her that her camp site and the one next door had the same name!
So one could argue that in that instance, my understanding of Cornish was a disadvantage!

A language is a mankind treasure. I augur long life to all keltik languages and minority cultures around the world.

I wish someone would update the Wiktionary lemma pages for Cornish by adding lemma pages for all the pronouns, prepositions, combinations of prepositions with pronouns, possessive, relative, pronouns, forms of possessive pronouns used after words ending in a vowel, full conjugations of every verb, comparative and superlative of every adjective etc.  Cornish should also be added to the languages available on Google Translate.  So should Manx and Breton.  Why not?  Three Celtic languages - Scottish and Irish Gaelic, and Welsh - are already available.

And, when spirits reincarnate, they also carry with them their love for the languages of the peoples they once belonged to, even though these tongues themselves have changed since the last time a soul spoke them.

Love never dies, it goes on beyond this life and comes back many times, in different forms. And each time it returns more enhanced and enriched by the other passions it has gathered in its wanderings, without ever ceasing to treasure those which once took its heart.

The identity of the spiritual conscience is an endless, dynamic process, much deeper still than the one it already goes through in a single life.

Very educational video and truly enlightened in terms of pedagogical values, even though for me my sheer passion for Kernewek is already enough reasons to learn it (and the other two Brythonic beauties:-). Meur ras and sharing for sure!
P.S.: Congrats for the good taste in quoting the great Fernando Pessoa, he and our Brazilian Cecilia Meirelles are my two favorite poets of the Portuguese language (though, of course, we also have other wonderful artists in that field in that language)!
