People debate this topic and talk about scriptures, etc. Do what you do for the Glory of God and humble yourself and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Remember He is our teacher.

I got tattoos when I was younger, but I repented of my sinful lifestyle at the age of 26, gave my life to Jesus Christ. I no longer glorify my self but I glorify the Lord that forgave me and changing me day by day!

I have always felt that having tattoos or not is not a salvation issue. The reason people don't go to heaven is not because they have a tattoo. Same as with makeup wearing, ear piercing, and the immodest clothing someone might wear, none of these stop Jesus Christ from loving anybody.

Maybe you can make a video on how music influences people? I'm talking about non christian music. I don't know . I really struggle with this. Is it a sin to listen to non christian music?

I have multiple tattoos and got them before I turned to the Lord and repented. I will NOT be getting any more Ink done just to be on the safe side. I've given up drinking and doing my best to also quit smoking too. It's not easy to be a true Christian, but then again if it was, everyone would do it. The rewards in heaven will be 10x greater than anything the big evil could give you. God bless everyone.

Appreciate your humbleness at the tail end of this video. We're all human and nobody is perfect. I like authentic people who are real, versus someone pretending to be something they're not.

On his thigh written "King of Kings Lord of Lords" seems like a tattoo to me.

I like the way you approach things, without being offensive to people. I personally don't like to mark my body, if my mom never pierced my ears when I was a baby I would have never got them, but I don't judge those who do because I don't feel that it is a sin.

Maybe the best most truthful and humble video about Christians and tattoos on YouTube!

I think it is really important to think about your intentions behind getting a tattoo

Keeping it real. Love it. For me when it comes to 'on the fringe' topics like this I pretty much run with the view that 'everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial.' Love your work. Blessings.

I just recently really started getting into Christianity, but before I started getting into it, I was doing bad things all the time. I got tattoos when I was 14, and I really regret them now. I want to get them removed but I'm only 16 so I need to wait until I can get a job and afford to remove them. But I just want to know opinions on if they're bad or not. They're nothing inappropriate. I have 3 tattoos... A Chinese character that means dragon, my birthday, and a tribal tattoo. (I know they're dumb. I was only 14) I keep them covered, but I do feel dumb having them and I always tell God that I'm going to get them removed.

Thank you for sharing brother. I'm still unsure about it, straight after it says no tattoos he says "I am the Lord your God" we are to stand out and be set apart from everyone else. I'm open to correction and hopeful you are correct :). Prayers and blessings

I started a sleeve tattoo when in a bit of a “backslidden” state. After I recommitted my life to Christ, I had a hard time continuing going back for installments of the sleeve (it takes many sessions to finish a sleeve). I just went back for one, and I’ve been struggling and studying. I’ve come to the conclusion that for he who feels it is sin, personally, it is sin. For he who it is not, it is not. And that we are not to judge one another, but to allow each other to stand or fall before the Lord. (Romans 14)
That being said, we are to walk circumspect, in love, toward those whom it may cause to stumble. For example, I cover my tats in church and various settings, out of respect. Especially for the elderly. We are about to enter a time when those with many tattoos will be white haired, and it won’t be as much of an offense. But for now, grandma, and the elders at our church, probably don’t appreciate it.

For the time being, unless the Lord gives me peace in this area, I will not be making anymore appointments, based on my own personal wrestling with the matter.

Also, when we use 1 Corinthians 6:19 to refer to tattoos, we are taking it WAYYY out of context. Paul is clearly talking about sexual immorality when referring to our bodies as being temples. Great video as always man!

I think tattoos are one of those things that are personal between the person & the Lord. . .like drinking wine or something of the sort. Its something that could be toxic for some or might not be for others. If that makes sense? Like tattoos can become an addiction or like you said someone could get offensive or crude tattoos.
I also agree that tattoos aren't necessarily relevant because as you mentioned they're only mentioned the one time. For people of that time, in that place.

Well, I love my tattoo. I love God and I love my tattoo. Personally, my tattoo is done in memory of my parents who passed away. It reminds me that they - and the Lord are watching over me. It helps me.

I have one question.... what about those that have tattoos now? Those, that say it is wrong to have one, does this mean these people will be condemned or destroyed. They will not reach heaven.... personally I want One that means a lot to my life and I love God with all my heart... no matter what I have that will never change...
