I have had a Char-Broil Tru-Infrared Gourmet 4 burner (T-47D) Grill for about 9 years. Love the fact that it has the infrared heating pans, that helps spread the heat evenly, and also prevents grease from getting on the burners. I can also put wood chips in the pans, to provide whatever smoky flavor I desire. I have replaced the pans once, and the igniter switch once. Great buy!!!

I've had a Weber Spirit 2-burner grill for 12 years, and I have NOT been taking good care of it. However, it still functions perfectly. That kind of resilience speaks for itself.

I have a Weber gas grill and love it. I bought it in 1994 and it still works great! It was $ 400. Back in 94 which I thought was a lot back then but after 27 years of service and it still works great I think that sez something about Weber quality. You can't go wrong with a Weber. 🍖🍗🥩🍔🌭

I've owned Weber and they last a long time. I bought mine for $350 in 2008 and it is still in great condition, but did require replacing the igniter, and cook surface.

I have a 2004 Weber Silver Grill and still works beautifully. I would like to get a new Weber but this old one still does a great job so I'm thinking I might as well keep using it.

I currently have a Char Broil and its lasted a few years now, about 4 I believe but its showing its age now with parts that need to be replaced. It's definitely not the quality of a Webber

My infared charbroil grill was covered, cleaned after usage, and treated well. Within 2 years, the grates were completely rusted and the burners started to do the same. In my opinion, the savings in the beginning did not equal out, as i ended up purchasing a $1200 broil king regal series after that. I also have 2 webers that i purchased used, that are still in tip top shape. Go weber !

so reading from the comments. Its a question of Durability. If you winterize your grill by putting it into a shed or garage; IF you have one will make sure it lasts a very long time. Therefore, logic says go w the Charbroil and save money.

Charbroil has horrible customer service. Spent 45 minutes on chat with them to get replacement parts under warranty for my 3 yr old grill. At the end of our session, they tell me to call their 1 800 number with a claim number they gave me. So then, I call the number only to be put on hold for 20 minutes. Called back, put on hold for 15 minutes and gave up. I will never buy another product from them again.
