Thank you, Mark, for this excellent video on describing the infrared grill tech from Char-broil. My brother-in-law has one and raves about it, but I wanted to do a little more research before I decided on what to purchase to replace my aging Blue Ember gas grill. I think you’ve convinced me. Thank you for showing the actual cooking process with actual meats and not just describing and giving us your opinion on how the grill functions. That made it very authentic. I felt like I was in your backyard.

Just got the 4 burner pro version today. Had the 2 burner for 10 years or so. Pro version seems pretty cool. Has a griddle attachment, charcoal trays if you want charcoal taste, and has more premium materials than the regular version.

My parents bought me a Charbroil 2-burner tru infrared 6 years ago. I will never go back to a standard grill. New ones are pretty pricey, so I just did a complete refresh this year and replaced the hose/ignition/burner tubes and grates. Works exactly like it did on day one.

Great video! Excellent presentation. I bought one of these 2 years ago. It may be just me, but I feel like its missing some flavor because of never coming in contact with the flame. Mine is also hooked up to natural gas. could be because I normally use non-gas grill. To remedy this issue for me, I turn on the far right burner to high and let it sit for a while, then right before I grill some steaks or chicken.... I throw on some pellets (hickory, cherry wood, etc) on the far right side for smoke, put my steaks etc on middle and left side, close it.. and add smoke flavor. .... Its convenient but not my first choice of my 4 grills to grill on. If gas grill is your way to grill. This is the best out there! As Marc demonstrated and stated it absolutely seals in the juice and grill marks are excellent! (subscribed ty)

I bought one charbroil commercial series grill about 10 years ago, love it.Time to buy another one just like the one you reviewed but a 4 burner, great grills

I replaced my stainless steel grates with these infrared screens and top grate on my regular grill and it worked like a charm!

You're not just blowing smoke (excuse the pun). I've got the exact model you are reviewing and it gets incredibly hot. So hot that I actually cook all my meats near the lowest setting and now my LP tank lasts forever! And no flare ups in 3 months. Just perfectly cooked food with no extra fuss. It's totally worth the extra $100 over a standard gas grill.

I had 2 chairbroil grill. Not bad but had bunch uneven cooking. But my heart will always be with them. The ports for the infrared they get plugged up lot

Our daughter has one. not sure which model, but she bought a Blackstone griddle. I thought that one of those griddle pans might work well on this for doing breakfasts? kind of a 'make it yourself' blackstone.

Gotta replace my grill, I have a kenmore that has lasted 15 years, so I didn't know if Charbroil was a good one. Also you have a nice yard.
