I am incredibly grateful that I found your channel! You are the first person who actually provides real and helpful tips on how to learn a language quickly and effectively. Thank you so much for your amazing content!

I really don't understand how it's possible to learn a language so quickly. I get how one can quickly and efficiently learn grammar, vocabulary, and that sort of thing, but to learn to understand the spoken language, when listening to natural-speed native speech is another issue entirely.

I agree wholeheartedly with your comments on the state of the academia and how important innovators/entrepreneurs are. Very few people are 'the men in the arena' and loads of others are just talking heads, criticizing those who risk everything in order to achieve major goals from the comfort and safety of hiding behind their keyboards.

One indicator to gauge a polyglot vs a glam youtuber is if they participate and engage with the Polyglot conference.
Another indicator is how many language 'families' vs languages do they participate in.
By the way, Alaskan Yupik is an active growing language w/a dictionary on PDF online, a very rhythmic lang w/ suffix/prefix attachments and two dialects!

5:58 it’s not good to be misleading like he is. He makes a lot of money by tricking gullible people.

I was waiting for some actual debunking of his criticism but all there were are "yeah haha, academy is outdated" and "peer review is just academics patting each other on the back" and claiming "the intelligence agencies' techniques for teaching agents languages are outdated". Dude. You couldn't have conformed languagejones' criticism any better than this.

I watch your channel for a contrarian view, I learned French using input and I know that my input allowed me to actually use grammar that I couldn't use after French "classes." I watched that video too and thought it was so bogus, he's a "linguist" ignoring all the academic research on comprehensible input including order of acquisition.

The only sad thing about these linguistics is that they do not know our method and mnemotecniques and probably they wont even try it, is like i want to put what i have in my head on theirs and their would make sense of it instead of yapping about that learning a language requires thousands of hours rather than hundreds or that it requires as many hours ad the people that used a poor method as minimum. When in reality is yjust that they do not kmow the optimal method and therefore they think that it requires an infinite amount of time.

I hate a lot these guys which hole persona on the web is to be an Phd and they have Phd on their name. Everything that has been invented was done by men non related to university in the majority of time such as Isaac Newtoon. Universitarians are often just people watching at what these great men have created. Imagine paying a permanent debt just to get a knowledge that is totally available for free on the internet, the internet, the entire access of human knowledge. We know more than Platoo, Aristotle and Socrates combined but instead some people prefer to watch at their belly buttons. Obviously the title is necessary for a job but in reality human nature is to luve as poor as posible and it doesn't matter how much eford we do, there is never an ensuranve of total economical freedom. With access to the internet and a phone or a comouter of any sort anyone can know and practice the knowledge of the great man.
