I bought this Black Mile Duffle back in February 2023 along with their laptop sleeve. I use it primarily in backpack mode, it is one bag travel for me (I do carry an Aer Day Sling 3 for the items I'll need during my flight). I've had a few trips on this bag so far (both business and personal) and overall I do like it. It has more than enough room, I actually have to be very cognizant that I can pack it too large for a carry-on if I'm not careful because the rolltop section is very spacious. I pack mine similarly to how you demonstrate- the mesh zip compartment in the bottom I put my packing cubes in. The top section that rolls, I access from the roll top and put my other travel items in it. I think it's really well designed, I'd say the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the straps. They did a perfect job on one end of the strap with the s-shaped sewn in clip, but the other side they sent with these Petzl carabiners (different than what's on your bag- they are legit climbing style Petzl carabiners) and they were huge and uncomfortable to use. I swapped them out for smaller carabiners but honestly I wish they just had the same s-style sewn-in clip on both ends. I agree the build quality is terrific. I was tossing up this bag vs the Pakt One and overall I'm happy I made this choice.

Its kinda like a giant code of bell x pod sling which I love. Thanx for the great vid I had not seen this yet, been trying to stay off Huckberry, waiting for the new carryology bag coming down the pipeline. But this might be the exception, been looking for a new duffle, or in this case duffle type. Just a thought, have you tried putting both straps on and then wrapping them around the bag and using like a dspatch Handel grip to connect the straps, to do like a make shit carry handle type deal 🤔. I have been able to do that with other bags even a few backpacks when I needed to carry an extra one…

Always love your videos. Not a duffle gal. My travel is limited to the streets of NYC, and my shoulders prefer a comfy backpack for walking all day (not so easy to find for my 17" torso. Goruck fits me well but it's hefty once I overpack). Just saw the new Dynema GR1. You think it's worth adding to my Goruck collection. Have a Slick, basic GR1 21L, Heritage, Bullet. Lighter weight to travel the streets of NYC might be nice. I like the add of the top pocket but not enough to invest $450 without your approval. Stop or go, dear Sir?

Nice enough, but nothing looks as good as that dark oak heritage combo.

Does Dyneema actually wear well? It looks like it would start to look busted over time with creases and wrinkles.

Pretty ugly. I'd go with the DSPTCH duffle bag, which is a way sexier addition to the GRXC1.
