If your base voltage is 117v you really don't have an issue. It would make sense to demo it when you're starting at 122 or 124v.

not sure why the primary voltage select knob is needed. just the reduction knob is needed and the display

i have a vox ac 15 and a mesa electra dyne, they both are marked for 120 volts but they still sound horrible in my house, will this fix that problem?

I have a Marshall 9200 dual monobloc would this be of any benifit for my tube stereo amp? It says 115v on the mains plugin.

Seems like a hybrid between a variac and a voltage regulator. Why don't they make a version for 240 volt regions of the world???

Would this be useable with a build of a vintage with modern clones of transformers, chokes, etc. or just vintage stuff? And would a variac do the same thing?

It's a pretty nice tool and keeps things in the safe margin for the most part. More so for older amps than newer. I wouldn't want to reduce the heater voltage in a newer amp.

A variac costs $60 bucks, does the same thing, EVH used one, so does John Meter...many use it
