That is not restoration.
It merely brings the oils up to surface, where it’ll dry out again, and then the rest of the plastic will not be as flexible as before…resulting in cracking later-on.

Of course, if you’re selling the car, then it’s not your problem, but it’s a shitty thing to do for the next owner.

I would bring it to Porsche and see what they prefer to restore the plastic to its original black color. This is a bit scarier choice to bring a blow torch to your car
