Plug it in... Gee. I wish I would of that. I'm guessing that reason anyone is watching this video is because their device IS plugged in, and USB tethering is still grayed out. That explains why there are more dislikes than likes.

After connecting the USB to my PC, Though my phone starts charging, but that Tethering option is still grayed out.

Mine was grayed out even though my otg/usb is connected thru my phone. and there's no pop up saying that "usb is connected" but it automatically going to my files and i see my usb there connected but it wasn't really there. it still grayed out.

SOME CABLES DOESNT ALLOW DATA TRANSFER. THIS CAN BE THE CASE IF YOURE USING A CABLE FROM THE DOLLAR STORE ETC.

My usb cable was plugged into my phone and my phone was charging but the usb tethering option was still greyed out... This is what i opened the video for...

Tried 5 cables, all of them working yet do not work on my phone. Tried all the ports, that doesn't work either. I thought of that myself and it does not work. Can you help? It always used to work then stopped😥

Remove every ports from your cpu and then try.
