SUBSCRIBE! Learn the differences between the different types of jamón and the origin of tapas.

If you’re traveling to Barcelona, you HAVE to go on a food tour to have a taste of what Barcelona has to offer. From seafood to jamon iberico, this city is a gastronomic extravaganza!

We were able to try various tapas, from octopus to escargot. It was such a fun experience, we knew that we HAVE to do a food tour in every city we visit!

Thanks to Secret Food Tours for an amazing experience! I highly recommend their tour guides, both Paris and Barcelona were unforgettable.

Barcelona is an incredibly wonderful city on so many levels. Everywhere you go, there's good things to eat. There is so much to do and see on every corner. El Mercado La Boqueria is something everyone should experience at least once. Truly a candy store for foodies. Getting around the city is very simple by foot and also the subway system. After only a few days, I found myself wanting to live there if I could have.

If you are planning to come again, try to taste "faves a la catalana", "galtes de porc", "Melós de vedella", "cap i pota" and a kind of dishes we call them "mar i muntanya" that means a mixture between sea and mountain products, a dish of this kind it's the "pollastre amb escamarlans". A very tipical dessert is "crema catalana" and in the Girona area you can find a very good product named "recuit de drap". That one it's served usually with honey on top. Remember that in all Spain at work days, you will find a complete meal with two main dishes, dessert, bread and drink between 10 and 20 euros, that we call "menú del día" Spain it's a country to eat, and every region has it's own specialities. The octopus you eaten, it's a Galician style called "pulpo a feira", the iberic ham it's produced on the southwest and midel west regions, like Andalucia, Extremadura and Castilla Leon (Salamanca province). In fact you had a tour about the Spanish food. Nice video.
