Karen Read case ends in mistrial

The jury in the Karen Read murder trial failed to reach a verdict after days of deliberation, and the judge declared a mistrial.

At first, I thought that IF she did hit him with the vehicle, it was a total accident so would be involuntary manslaughter, at best. But after watching some of the trial (I admit not all of it), I believe she absolutely did not hit him. Defense attorney did a great job.

I do believe in my heart that there is wayyyy to much reasonable doubt for me. I support all police but I do believe that the police work here was done very poorly. Everyone deleting there call logs, getting new phone; disposing the other phone, Karen’s tail light, the lies between the witnesses etc I can go on and on ! But I will not. These district attorneys better reconsider redoing this case. I do not see that getting guilty verdict at all what so ever! BUT LETS NOT FORGET AN OFFICER IS NO LONGER HERE, let’s remember OFFICER JOHN O’Keefe is no longer here. I pray for his family and friends. I do pray there is justice for Officer O’Keefe gets justice. I believe Karen is not the one to go after. I’m not sure who is but lord this is sad all around

I’m absolutely baffled that the family is siding with the people who likely killed their son. I can understand that they might not have liked Karen, but I feel like they’re the people we should want to convince. Yes, we want freedom for Karen, but we also want justice for the O’Keefe family, and it’s tragic they’ve been painted as opposite opinions based on the fact that they’re siding with the prosecution. It’s tragic that they haven’t been convinced by the science and evidence behind this case.
