I ve been trying to do this for a while but when i get to the generate project files, I get a huge error, yellow and red, couldnt locate file assembly of iconic.something. where do the dependencies go when i download them? i think im downloading them twice.

hi! is the UnrealMultiUserServer at 6:16 the program we need to build for being able to create dedicated servers using source build or we don't need to build any specific programs in the source build to be able to create dedicated servers for our multiplayer game ?

just did this for the 5.0.3 ver and it works :D all steps seem to be the same (just had to let the zip file past my antivirus as Bitdefender hated it for some reason :3 )

Just attempted this same process with Unreal 5.1. The build seems to work. However I have noticed that after moving the Engine itself to my preferred directory all .uproject files still look for the path from the extracted-tp directory when attempting a right click and execute functions such as Launch Game/Switch Unreal Engine verson... etc. (The Unreal symbol is also replaced by the placeholder windows application icon for .uproject files) Is this something anyone else has experienced?

I keep getting UE4Editor.modules not found fatal error and only lets me report the crash.

Why do i have to build prjects like UnrealLightmass etc. seperatly? i guessed that building the entire project which takes roughly an hour includes everything

i got 3 errors when i build:
1. C3861 'GetTypeHash': identifier not found
2. C2672 Trace::GetTypeHash': no matching overloaded function found
3. The command —Target="UE4Editor
Win64 Development" —Target="ShaderCompileWorker Win64 Development —Quiet" —WaitMutex —FromMsBuild" exited with code —1.
