I am planning on building a desktop primarily for video production and cinematics. I do a lot of work in Adobe too. Would you recommend prioritizing a lower number of cores? I was looking at pairing the Threadripper PRO 5955WX, 16-core with the 4090. Should I go for a 32 or 64 core or instead go with the i9?

I really advise on a 1 or 2tb NVME for projects alone, I'ts really annoying if you get projects upto 200gb and your main drive is full. If I would setup my pc again I would have a motherboard with 3 slots, 1 for windows only which could be a fast nvme for 500gb and then 1 for my software, and another one for my projects.

even in 2024, is it fine to go with intel because of it's unstability. im looking at the 12700kf or 14600kf because intel has more cores for lower prices but amd has better singl core performance. Also lga 1700 has no more upgrade paths.

Hi great video, I was wondering if you could help me with my gpu choice? I am an architecture student and have a laptop with a 3050 (4gb) and a pc with a 1060 (6gb). For now my laptop can handle my small and simple render but I want to make bigger and more detailed renders. I was thinking of replacing my 1060 for a 4070 ti super or a 3090. The 4070 ti super is newer but only 16gb compared to 24gb. What would you recommend? Also are the new features like dlss3 of any use for me if a am only rendering still images?

Can you suggest me a good GPU under 35-40k? I just wanna make 1080p (or 1440p maybe if possible) cinematic renders. Want to upgrade from RX 570 8GB. It has started showing its age 😢. Other specs are
i5 9400F, 2x8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD, 120GB SSD for System only and 450W PSU.
Will upgrade other parts one by one... But really need to upgrade the GPU First.
