Since having my 12, the delete app option isn’t offered, only remove from home screen. I assumed with the 14 it would give the option again finally, but it doesn’t. Also only offers to remove it from the screen. Driving me insane!!

If you have an iPhone 12 11 1314 and it’s only giving you the option to remove it from the home screen you have to go to screen time, privacy restrictions, and allow deleting apps

Doesn’t permanently delete because I keep getting notifications to update the apps if removed

I put a few game apps on my Iphone. When I press and hold, there is no option to delete from the phone. Only send to library shows. What now? I have work apps so I cannot delete all apps from phone.

That only removes the icon. If you look in other places on your phone (like under “cellular data”) the app is still there.

What a horribly inconvenient way to delete apps, I can’t believe this is the only way. I have to add the app to my Home Screen just to delete
