Can You Beat MH4U LOW Rank Without Sharpening?

Have you ever wondered if it's possible to beat a Monster Hunter game without sharpening? A core mechanic that is essential for most players? Well look no further. Today we find out if you can beat MH4U without sharpening. Here are the rules:

1. You cannot use Whetstones or whetfish
2. Cannot use Armor skills that effect sharpness like handicraft, razorsharp, protective polish, etc.
3. Cannot use weapons that don’t have sharpness like Bows and Bowguns

the reason that rathalos move was removed is probably because it's neither fun not challenging. you can't hurt him, and the attack is easily dodged. the attack even got a nickname because of its infamy: rathalos world tour.

Kinda weird how you can only get a Water-element CB *after* fighting Gravios, though.

Delete your emulator folder, redownload (if you don't have the zip file/installer), reinstall in a different folder. You must have touched a setting you shouldn't have touch xD AH, make sure you make a backup of your save file! (right click on your game and open save data location)

Great video! The only strategy change I would have done is using Switch Axe, as it gets intrinsic Mind's Eye in sword mode and even the basic reload function give you plenty of uptime. Still, fascinating challenge, and I'm lucky enough I can go straight to part two!

I think having skills that effect sharpness should be allowed because if the challenge is just don’t sharpen well increasing your sharpen or making it last longer would be helpful.

I think using a hunting horn works well since you get free minds eye. But yeah charge blade was the undisputed king of weapons back in 4u lol
