Watch Before You Buy A 2022 Honda CR-V

Nearly every automaker offers a compact SUV today. It's simply a design that buyers want, enough that even Range Rover offers one. But few do compact SUVs better than Honda, and few are better overall than the 2022 Honda CR-V. Available with front- or all-wheel drive, the CR-V maintains the qualities that have made this nameplate a favorite since its debut nearly 30 years ago: airy cabin, ample cargo space, gentle ride, responsive handling, and excellent fuel economy. Evolving driver-assist features have also helped the CR-V earn top safety ratings.

Sure, the CR-V's rivals do some things better. The Toyota RAV4 gets slightly better fuel economy. The Subaru Forester can take you deeper off-road. The Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sorento offer high-tech infotainment and tons of value. The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque (priced well north of the CR-V and not exactly a rival) looks better at the valet.

Honda will no doubt address some of these issues when an all-new, redesigned CR-V debuts next year, hopefully with more user-friendly infotainment. It could also gain an optional third row. Regardless of its new configuration, we expect few will continue to blend it better than the CR-V.

Thinking about getting a 2023 Civic SI but can't find any in stock and it's a new model year so everyone wants one. So looking at CR-V 2022 model year since it is their last year before they get the all new 2023 CR-V's out. I appreciate this video!

I’ve got the 2021 CRV and it’s great and reliable. My only issue with mine, is the infotainment screen crashing all the time with CarPlay.

bought mine 3 weeks ago a 7seater with a Diesel engine with Honda Sense (PH Version). I am so happy with my decision. I hope the new 6th would still have diesel fed engine and a seven-seater

In my area at least you cannot save money buying used unless you go older. At my local honda dealer, every single 2019 or newer CR-V with reasonable miles, is priced at more than the original MSRP. Thankfully they are selling new vehicles at MSRP so if you are patient you can get one for that (all the other dealers within 200 miles are marking up all their new vehicles). I recently got a 2022 passport at msrp minus a small incentive that they got on a dealer trade and currently waiting for a 2023 HR-V to arrive so we can get rid of our 2020 HR-V that I hate.

They are substantially cheaper than the RAV4. I recently looked at a RAV4 Limited and it was 40 Grand Plus.

Great review for a great, practical vehicle that’s obtainable by nearly every consumer. Thanks for not trying to drag this through the Rubicon trail or against some overpriced hot hatch. We need more reviews for the everyday driver who’s looking for value for their money and less bs about glossy black plastic interiors and a vehicles inability to get to the grocery store in under 6 seconds.

We have a 2022 CRV EX-L Hybrid and have no doubt we will be able to put 150k-200k miles on it. This is not an exciting vehicle that will ignite your heart, but it is reliable, safe and comfortable.

In the last 30 years I've bought nothing but used Hondas and 1 used Acura. I've had very good results. I would buy a used CRV any day.

i got two sisters pregnant in this crv within the same year their kids or well our kids will be 3 months apart im going to buy another one of these so my kids can be safe and my baby mothers dont have to ask me for gas or insurance money
