I am curious as to whether there are any pros and cons on SEO ranking between using Etsy's built in sales tool vs. Etsy On Sale? When I went to create a storewide Black Friday sale using Etsy's built in tool today, they seemed to indicate that being included in their sitewide Cyber Week Sale could boost traffic to my store. Is that just because sales bring in more traffic in general, or because they are going to do something to bring more attention or increased SEO ranking for stores participating in the event? Maybe this is a question better aimed at Anthony Wolf, lol?

So to be clear, you set up a 30% off sale on Etsy On Sale (thanks for the tutorial by the way, so helpful!). Then you set up a 30% off coupon from your Etsy shop manager. The sale is public, and the coupon is handed out on social media and email to encourage the double dip.... So if you run a sale from your Etsy shop, you can't allow them to use a coupon on top of it right? Customers can only buy a regular item with the coupon cor OR buy a sale item, but can't buy a sale item AND use a coupon? (forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, haha!)
