LOADING A VIDEO TO YOUTUBE is intimidating, you want your YOUTUBE UPLOAD to look HD 4K, as high quality of a Youtube video as possible because of the effort you put into making it. Uploading your video to youtube should be the easy part of the process, but there are a lot of small aspects to pay attention to, that could make or break your video and most other videos on HOW TO UPLOAD A YOUTUBE VIDEO don’t give it justice.

Upload, and have YouTube Automatically POST your video at a selected time, on a selected date.

PREMIERE -
Scheduling a time for your video to go “Live”. An interactive way to upload your video while chatting with your subscribers AND viewership.

Youtube takes time to process your uploaded video.
Even though it says complete, it will actually be PROCESSING it.
So, if you were to PUBLISH as soon as you upload - it could be in 360p, 720p OR HD.

A lot of creators make this mistake, they think that the video uploaded wrong, but it’s actually just processing!

1. 4K may take DAYS to fully process

A golden tip is to schedule your video for the next day. That way you give your video plenty of time to finish processing all the different qualities. Also if anyone has a video that is stuck on only SD then you may need to reupload it. I've just had this issue today and had to reupload it because it was bugged and YT didn't recognise it was a 4k video. So now I reupload it properly processed the video to true 4K

This was extremely thorough. The only question I have, which you didn't quite cover (unless I missed it), is, if you're uploading a video that was shot in 4K, do you need to do anything while setting up the upload to make sure it uploads at 4K, or does YouTube just know that it's 4K and that this is the resolution that you want it to be?
