How to start Montessori for newborn babies at home | Montessori NEWBORN activities

In this video, I'll be taking you along with us, showing how to incorporate Montessori principles at home right from birth. You'll discover a ton of activities for fostering your newborn baby's brain development through the Montessori approach, featuring easy and practical ideas for everyday interactions.
I have categorised into three main areas: tactile, visual, and auditory experiences for babies 0-3 months.

These activities will help you apply Montessori principles in your home and help your baby adjust from the womb to the outside world.

My mother talked to me all-day when I was a baby, like she did not shut up ever. I talked super early and growing up always had a bigger vocabulary than other kids my age. My mum (and I also) are 100% sure that it's because she talked to me so much so early. My father has a new family and they barely ever talked to their baby and she had a very hard time learning to talk.

I love how you give your baby various sensory inputs without expensive toys and products.
Less is more especially for newborns!!

So glad I’ve watched this I have been doing most of these things unintentionally especially ensuring I’m engaging with him everytime he is looking at me holding him and talking/singing to him continuously. He’s now 3 months old and has been cooing away since he was 8 weeks old. My mum thinks I hold him and “spoil” him but I don’t believe in this. I want my son to know he is treasured and loved every minute. I’ve never been told to do anything around playing and exploring but I knew I wanted to give my child the best possible start so have been trying to do my research around what our babies like to do/ find interesting at there age range. I’m not perfect and struggled with tummy time due to him hating it unless on my chest but we are finding new ways to make him more comfortable and enjoy it. Thank you for this video I it’s been very helpful, you’re doing a great job!!! Elijah is very cute❤

I have taught 22 years in a Montessori classroom, but I know very little of Montessori for babies. This video is very interesting!

Lovely!
Babies truly are the intuitive experts on how to gain all the skills they need.
I always say I'm just here for food and comfort, and my boy is teaching himself everything else. :)

My mother taught Montessori but we had an abusive home so there was little she could do for us. She taught me some as an adult but has sadly passed before she could help me work with my children. I am three months pregnant with my first child and looking for exactly this kind of help. Thank you so much!

Wow. This is the best Montessori video for this age range I’ve seen yet on YouTube. It is both informative & beautiful. The transitions are calming a natural which fits the topic so well. :) Thank you and please continue to update with more age ranges as you can. So helpful. ☺️

Watched again after some months. Love these month specific development videos. It’s like the handbook in video form. Much easier for me to feel inspired to actualize than just from the book! Thank you

I listened to classical music while pregnant and during my daughters development and still to this day they all listen to classical music 🎼 and nature sounds during sleep and my daughters are 19, 17 and the twins are 15 🎶 🎶🎶🎶🎶and they all have been homeschooled their whole lives ❤

Very good video! I've been watching Hapa Family for years now but I love your own approach as well! I appreciate your focus on actions instead of toys. These were all really helpful tips.
