Those homes are still on their foundations. Count it as a blessing

Nothing happened. For mobile homes to be standing after a cat 4 or cat 3… God really answer our Prayers.

I would not call that catastrophic, that can happen in any storm

These reporters are so full of it. They drive around to find the deepest puddle and film it. Most damage came from the tornadoes

Ashville North Carolina was a catastrophic event

This is actually mild, not bad, news are just blowing out of proportions

No it's not catastrophic... interestingly I'm thinking Milton lost his punch, much to the greatness of God and prayer. Surge was minimal and tropical storms can do worse. Still sad it happened, and have another punch but hey everyone was expecting 10 times more.

Catastrophic? Go to North Carolina or Acapulco to see catastrophic...

Watching this made me realize why so many Americans are cynical about climate change. Your media so exaggerats things that when there is a real threat it just sounds like more of the same.

That is NOT catastrophic damage. Thank goodness....there has been far less damage than there might have been...with a MUCH stronger MILTON

Dont be dramatic, thats not near catastrophic 🤦🤦

The storm surge is really where the worst part of the mess is and clearly it appears that the neighborhood he is standing in was not part of it. If its deep enough, fast moving water destroys just about everything in its path from the bottom up.

Clearly he doesn't know catastrophic means.

This neighborhood looks ok considering what its been through.

Catastrophic? You’ve lead a sheltered life, and your vocabulary is found wanting.

Yall would be much more helpful to society if you helped with storm clean up instead of creating drama

It's really being dramatized. Most homes look fine. Just small amount of debris.

My family is in Palmetto. Im waiting to hear if they had damage. I'm praying for all of you. I was just there in August. It breaks my heart to see this.

I've lived in Florida for 10 years. I'm not Florida man by any means. Milton was easy work. Irma was 10x worse for me when I lived in highlands county. I'm about 30 miles east of Tampa and I was taking walks last night in the thick of it lol. Again, easy work. Florida man could have slept hard in a small boat right on the bay easily during Milton.

To call this Catastrophic is stupid, yes there is a lot of damage, catastrophic would be nothing left, that can be cleaned up in a Day. Asheville and Surrounding areas are Catastrophic. Move to some place and give us a real report.

That’s not bad at all given the size and strength of that storm ! They were very fortunate
