When using a Synology NAS with no DHCP available, it gets itself a 169.254 address and your tip helped me find it with the advanced IP scanner. Made sure to come back and like the video. Thank you!

I just ran into an issue where I can't use the network, find.synology or the assistant to find the nas. But its there and I can view and access files. I just can't get to the back end. I'm on Macbook Pro using a USB-C to ethernet adapter. :/

I have an issue that I've had for a while where I can no longer ping my NAS on the same network via Terminal/CMD. The NAS itself works fine, I have no problem accessing it via the Browser, Syno's apps or using Synology Assistant. I just can't ping to it. I've disabled VPN's at both ends and that doesn't help. The only thing I can think that might of changed is I have setup link aggregation. I also can't get Wake On Lan to work now either. Any ideas from the community would be greatly appreciated thanks.
