Shane Satterfield answers questions about why video game developers are anonymous compared to other entertainment mediums. Is it possible to convert adults into core gamers? Why did Digimon get a free pass from Nintendo? Can an annual sports game release twice in the same year?!

I think Nintendo also does a disservice to devs as well. Most of the Nintendo are not made internally like Bandai Namco made Smash Bros Ultimate for example. But there is never a splash screen when you turn on the game, only a Nintendo logo. So all consumers just think Nintendo developed all their games themselves unless you dig in the end credits scroll.

My cousin's mom started playing games in her 50s/60s. Was bored and came across an Xbox 360. She plays tons of games still. Loves halo and dead space.
