I used Cerakote and it did the same. Still perfect after 3 years on 19 year old Corolla.

Haven’t heard of this product but will have to keep it in mind for future.

Dont really need it on anything modern unless it will be a long time before its started like a few months to years. If its going right back together then throw some engine oil on it and put it together.
