method to find range(max) in inclined plane is as follows:-
1) calculate the range using the formula [R = / gcos^2(alpha)]
2) On simplifying, we will get
3) now we can conclude that Range(max) is at sin(2theta+alpha) is max = sin 90
therefore, 2theta+alpha = pie/2 => theta = pie/4 - alpha/2
4) on substituting theta as pie/4-alpha/2, we get [R=u^2{1-sin alpha}/g cos ^2alpha]
which on further simplification gives,
[R=u^2/g(1+sin alpha)] (on rationalisation)

At 1:56:29 Those who are getting 12m as range they are actually taking acc. along y-axis... Take it along x-axis and you will range 21m.
