It's a shame that most classes don't have the budget and most teachers don't have the skills to teach this way.
When I was a kid I had a patio at home and frequently I would play with things like marbles blocking hoses and checking at what point the water would shoot the marble out and things like that. When I got to physics class, I loved that they had the explanation to many things I played with, and then I saw with surprise that my classmates could not understand the concepts because they had never observed the phenomena with attention.
I could learn fine from the chalkboard and the book, but my classmates really needed the demonstration.

The air drag was so neglible that the ball got intercepted at the surface area of that cone that proff. Lewin had placed. Amazing. That's why we often neglect that.

It is a special case analysis of projectile from a moving reference in this case ball is thrown vertically upward and if object is not moved it will certainly land in funnel but when it is moved the horizontal component of ball's velocity is equal to the velocity of moving object and velocity of ball in upward is given so when it is projected ball and object velocity in horizontal is same, so there is no relative motion between then is happened and both ball and moving object covered same horizontal Range.If it is projected with a certain angle theta then ball's horizontal velocity component ≠ object velocity component and ball's component>object's component
As if ballis thrown by U velocity then vertical is U Sin theta and Horizontal will be U Cos theta+ velocity of moving object (V).
