Lagouvardos Greece Peloponnese

Lagouvardos is a long beach -- over 2 km long -- about 3 km outside of Marathopoli in the South Peloponnese. It has golden sand and crystal clear blue water. Some parts of the beach are organized with umbrellas and chairs, and there are water sports facilities available. It is an extremely popular beach that can become crowded in areas during the summer. The water is shallow for a long time, so it is great for kids.
