Chrissi Akti is located in the western part of Messinia in the South Peloponnese, 10 minutes away from Pylos. It is an amazing beach extending for 4 km with fine golden sand and a breathtaking view of Navarino bay, Pylos and the Sfaktiria islet. The beach has turquoise, crystal clear, shallow water and is organised with umbrellas, sunbeds, beach bars and camping. It's possible to see the endangered caretta-caretta sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs, and the area is also full of rare migratory birds.
