Honestly, society has always been like that. All the Internet did was exasperated it by making it easier for a collective of people around the world to join along together to do it.

Having just played this for the very first time this year, this moment in the game really stood out to me, phenomenal.

Given how actors and writers have striked against AI, it's unimaginable how a video game can be the best fortune teller.

I remember back then when Lorne Lanning first released the Oddworld games he got the same response that Kojima did with "dude you predicted the future" and his response was
"Nah this isnt the future this is now i was just paying attention to whats going on and told you guys."

Because people have always done this, from the start of the internet, from before the internet, people have always banded themselves together. The only thing the internet do is make it so much easier for people to do it

You'd be surprised what many game developers and programmers know that have been constantly giving us subliminal warning messages throughout so many different game titles its just like whats on America's money, symbolism and the like you just have to really deep dive into it all to understand, the rabbit hole is not a place where you can just forget though what you learned once your in and out you're still in. Its like insanity believing something is there that (theoretically) isn't but you know it is. And in this case actually is there, but nobody will believe you until they themselves dive deep enough but then they're crazy too if they do so. A prime example of this is America's current and past government officials, Hollywood and its rising and falling celebrities. Its in movies music video games art. Keep your eyes and ears open 👀👂✋

This is what happens when visionaries make art

I think Hideo Kojima had access to some rather classified or obscure defense info! Arsenal Gear was based on Arsenal Ship! Mostly for electronic warfare (as the game) but with extensive offensive capabilities too.
AI and nanotechnology in 2001 were already WAY AHEAD of anything we see today in black budget programs this I can atest to personally.

Hate this stuff. Saying something that is very common in history, and specifying it will happen in the future is just good chance.
If i said that now, and the political tensions and wars kept getting worse, we would become separated by ideals to what's happening and have sub groups and we all know where they would talk about it

And what are you gonna do about it…nothing and keep following you 🐑

Well written? Did you...play the game recently?
And it's not a future prediction; that was a thing back then, too.

If you think that's crazy, play Metal Gear Rising. Senator Armstrong is basically an over-the-top parody of Trump 3 years before he was elected, Monsoon was painfully right about memes and propaganda, and Blade Wolf touched heavily on ideas of self-ownership and personal independence, qualities far too many people now lack just like he did.
