When an artist says, “That’s not my song anymore.”, is there a greater compliment?

Eric Claptons son conor was 4 years old when he fell over 50 floors out an open window in NYC. They said he was 9 in the video. Either way its incredibly tragic and i couldnt ever imagine that happening.

Nobody has ever given me goosebumps the way Whitney Houston has when I first watched her live in 1993. She was at the top of her talent and I’ll never forget it.

How is Un-Break My Heart by Toni Braxton not on this list? It is one of the most gut wrenching songs ever written.

I remember my first time hearing “house of the rising sun” I’ve always been classic rock inclined thanks to my hippy dad. But between the LEGENDARY guitar riff and the story being told? Undoubtedly a classic

And omg hurt by Johnny cash, first time I heard it I legitimately cried. I had to sit down. You just FEEL the words in his version. Great on Trent for letting him cover it and for admitting that Johnny owned the song. Totally owned it
