Thank you for some more Gen X insights. I am also in my 50's, and most of these "How to grow your channel" videos are created by Millennials and Gen Z and their whole M.O. is about fast editing, quick cuts, flashy video overlays and green screens. While those are fun to watch, they don't really give any insight into talking to your audience.

I had to giggle when you were talking about being the #1 type of person with too many ideas and interests. That is me and the animated way you did it was exactly how I feel about it when I am trying to decide what to talk about for the day. I guess you and me(us Gen Xers) are my niche but I also am an artist/illustrator who loves to make and sell coloring books online. Plus an animal lover, travel enthusiast who wants to do vanlife in a few years but I have a crap ton of experience and thoughts on being a disabled ADHDer, mental health sufferer, cancer survivor, domestic abuse survivor who has also been homeless 4x with and without children. How do I talk about all this and still keep/reach my targeted niche or is it too many niche markets? And yes, as others have mentioned in the comments, you look lovely in that blue sweater! I can't wear anything that heavy of a material these days(hot flashes daily even now 6 years into menopause, lol) but would love to. Thank you for all your tips. I look forward to your next video. Hopefully my channel will take off one day, it's been sooo slow and some days I feel like I am never going to nail down the right content that brings in the right market I can talk to and help out.

I keep practicing, listing topic ideas, etc and don’t want to copy anyone, although I am 60 and feel like the “what I’ve learned” niche is calling me.
