I am a fairly new teacher of English, and I must say these videos are very useful for me! Not only in revising the material but also watching another teacher and the way he goes about teaching the language. Thanks!

hey alex im an English teacher too, but I have searched for this information in many sources and all of them agree that the correct way to place adjectives after a noun is :
OPINION, SIZE, SHAPE, AGE, COLOR, ORIGIN, MATERIAL, STYLE and finally PURPOSE

Are there many standard approaches for ordering adjectives in a sentence, because I noticed some differences in the videos I watched.

Native Speaker (and imo better than the average native speaker) and it is really cool that I (and natives in general) just know this intuitively.
I've studied Spanish, German, and Japanese so I know how difficult language quirks can be, especially English!

Don't get discouraged, if you explain to someone you're trying to improve your English and sound more natural they'll most likely be understanding and willing to politely correct you so you know the proper way (if they are able).

Thank you, sir! I get a little confusion about the order or sequence of more than one adjectives.
And now I am ordering adjectives like a native speaker.

I think the order of adjectives is:

Article, Number, Opinion, Size,
Shape, Age, Color, Origin, Material, Purpose

Really cool study there. I like how you made it so clear for us to see what is being said. I would have had problems with this if I had not clicked this video.

Hi Alex,
Why is it correct to say - old boring physics teacher?By your rule, shouldn't boring be the first adjective to come because it's opinion. Isn't it? And thanks very much for your useful lessons. They really help me a lot in my learning process.
