But the frist one is a colour, (orange )it's quite confusing when you explain this to kids or even teenagers. Guess We'll have to use simple phrases

Hi superb British Council!
I want to ask something about adjective order.
While I was doing exercise about that grammar topic, I saw following example
comfortable old blue pair of trainers"

I wonder if I can also say
pair of comfortable old blue trainers
I would be grateful if you could answer my question.
Best wishes!

How to confuse learners... Most of language teachers got it all wrong. Maybe that's because they don't speak another language. They obviously don't understand what is to be a learner. You want to have a good language teacher? Find one who is fluent in more than 2 languages and can teach them all. ACCURATELY. Otherwise, you will end up with a "clown" (no disrespect to her, but that's what it is)

Hi, I wonder if there is a way to understand the mindset of English adjectives' order naturally and logically. I find it a little bit crazy and pitiful to always think about O-S-A-S-C-O-M-P. Best wishes.
