Creepy Sounds Captured in an Abandoned Mine While Reviewing the ThruNite TN12 Flashlight

Disturbing, strange sounds. That’s exactly what I caught on video while filming and documenting the abandoned Waldeck Mine using the ThruNite TN12 flashlight. The Waldeck Mine is an abandoned gold mine located deep in a forested canyon in the high country. I went there on a stormy night in order to document the mine while reviewing and demonstrating ThruNite's excellent TN12 handheld flashlight. The abandoned mine itself is over 150 years old and still has a lot of awesome yet dangerous timbering in its furthest reaches. There are upper levels in the Waldeck Mine, but I only explored and documented the main haulage tunnel.

As mentioned in the video, the ThruNite TN12 flashlight I used exclusively for this demo and review has five light levels. Here are the lumens each light level puts out:

FIREFLY MODE: 0.4 lumens
LOW MODE: 18 lumens
MEDIUM MODE: 175 lumens

I have a really hard time believing in anything supernatural, but the closest I've ever come is reccomending my buddy to go explore a mine attached to an abandoned town in Northern NV. I had been there before, it was about a 3 hour drive offroad, maybe 50-75 miles away from any kind of civilization. I had done a pretty extensive exploration of the town and the mine with a more experienced explorer who brought some rope gear. This mine was extremely dangerous, about half of it was collapsed, leading to cool above ground arch, then mine, then arch again formations above ground where the tunnel was horizontal. Deeper in, there was a lot of collapses areas leading to a few belly crawls. We explored it extensively but didn't find anything of interest unfortunately.

My buddy told me he happened to be in that area testing some new guns of his BLM land. He was a multi tour combat veteran, and said he would love to check out the ghost town and mine while he was there. I got a text from him saying he was starting his exploration and to hear back from him in about 2-5 hours.

5 mins later I get another text.

"I can't go down there."

"Why? Did it collapse more?"

"No, I just heard someone walking down there."

"What? Is anyone else at the ghost town?"

"No."

That kind of shook me up, as this dude was probably the bravest person I've ever met. He offroads all day to go see a ghost town, gets there and hears something so weird that it stops him in his tracks, and he turns around and leaves within 10 mins. It just doesn't sit right with me.
