NZXT H1 Full Review + Thermals!

For the "H2" I'd like to see them make it 2, 5cm taller, or maybe shave off some cm from the bottom and add a 120mm fan at the top pulling air out through a vented top. It would be a 10/10 case.

Case is insane looking, I actually really like the look of the tempered glass showing the GPU lights, looks so clean!

A couple 40mm fans in the top-right rear behind the GPU will help tremendously with GPU temps. You can see a 4-7°C drop in average GPU temps. Not too shabby for tiny 40mm fans. You can just stick them to the interior wall with double-sided tape, but there's a guy on etsy who 3D prints 40mm fan mounts for the rear.
And for CPU temps, just throw out the NZXT fan and slap a Noctua on it.

Got this case today and put my parts in it and its running. 3900x with a rtx 2080 ti and i do have to say, it was an easy build. It is a lot quieter than i thought and coming from a watercooling cpu/gpu setup, i am impressed with the downsize and thermals. I benchmarked and cpu never got over 70c and my stock fan on gpu never got over 73c. Very pleased with the purchase.

I reckon if the case were designed to have a fan exhausting out of the top, thermals would be significantly improved. Other than that, this case is a real beaut!

Despite of its shortcomings it is great to see a company thinking outside the box and producing something like this. Yes, would like to see the glass panel from the front removed.

A beautiful and sleek case, and I think I'm into the trend of the smaller, compact cases that has been going on. I just built my first super computer recently, so moving to a small case like that would be expensive, and man did I pay too much to not have all the rgb shown lmao

This motherboard (Gigabyte X570i) doesn't have a front USB-C port, so be careful if you wanted this case with a working USB-C port at the top..

Love this case, really thinking of upgrading to it! Might be time for me to bid farewell to Intel and join the Ryzen side too...


Only downside is I can't seem to get a hold of it in the UK at the moment 😔

I get what people are saying about not being able to buy only the case. It is actually a good thing for me since I am outside the US and I get charged extra by shipping each component individually.
