So NZXT are back with an update to the H1 - imaginably named the V2! Now with a 750w Gold rated psu an extra fan and hopefully a non problematic PCIE4 riser card for your GPU!

Love the fact that you are still here and doing videos! Good video, thank you!

This time around I think the NZXT H1 V2 really looks like I might actually buy it for a build. While initially I was disappointed with how NZXT reacted to the fire issues with the original H1, this one looks like they came back strong. Only real reason I might not at this point is the fact I'm using a lot of expansion cards currently so I need ATX, but it might be good for an awesome looking little home server or just a pure gaming-only machine (come to think of it, I might be able to replicate some of my cards with external hubs, but that kinda defeats the point of them being PCIe cards).

Hey Tom, probably worth investing in a long screwdriver ALA dark rock pro 4, you can buy them seperate OR use a smaller screwdriver (like you'd use for M.2)
Have had that "screwdriver not straight on" problem dozens of times.
Still not going to help the many customers but atleast it helps us who build dozens of systems a year.

Edit; I should have kept watcing lol.

I think I'd like an option of replacing the glass with another grill, When you were showing the build inside I think you could of done with a bit more light as everything is black

Good work. But buy yourself a set of extra long screwdrivers. Mine are by Silverline from Amazon.

I'm able to put a Ryzen 7950x in this thing and it runs fine. The processor is designed to run at 95c.

The biggest problem with this case is the Lian Li Q-58 as it supports up to a 280 radiator.

So do you not recommended a FE 3070 or 3080?

I appreciate the information you share here. I would like to know what the thickest GPU you can get in there is. Some of the Aorus Master and Aorus Extreme models probably won't fit because of the super beefy heatsink and shroud, but it would be nice to see which is the thickest model that could be safely installed. Thanks.

You need to change the cpu fan intake for the cooler

Its bigger than the original but doesn't add anything new. If the removed the ssd sleds and lowered the psu. YOU could fit a normal 240mm AIO instead of that one of a kind loud abomination

it makes nothing a case so small tight that you bring into trouble with installation and maintenance, why all the struggle for a few inches less. Dust and heat build up and in the end you gonna hate it

I appreciate the effort but nope: While the original H1 was the worst case scenario, it really showcased an important issue: a layout that requires a raiser just introduces a point of failure. When you start adding raiser cards to consumer products well the results are what you saw on V1. I get that the layout is appealing to some but just stick to the Ncase M1 or Coolermaster NR200 layouts instead and even on those without vertical GPU mounts: pci-e port to mount a gpu or expansion card *directly*. Otherwise it's just asking for trouble if you ask me.
