Major Trump opponent Liz Cheney faces political reckoning in Republican primary

Rep. Liz Cheney, one of Donald Trump's biggest Republican critics, faces slim chances of winning her primary race in Wyoming.

Trump endorsed Cheney's Republican rival Harriet Hageman, who falsely claims the 2020 U.S. election was stolen.

And despite the two candidates sharing nearly identical views on every other issue, it's Cheney who's behind by double digits in the polls.
