Hello! I didn’t use your methodology but I transferred in 30ish credits, knocked out the bachelors degree in two terms and I am finishing my Masters in Accounting in one term!

Oh let me add that I just accepted a position at a large regional firm!

Thank you for this amazing strategy, Shane. I can tell this took hours of research and I appreciate you sharing it with us. I have 2 questions:

1. I already have a Bachelor's degree and I'm not sure which of my classes will satisfy which credits for WGU. Does it make sense to enroll as a first step so WGU's advising office can advise me on which credits will transfer?

2. Will this strategy work with a Master's degree? Is there anything I would need to modify?

So yes, you can do 7 months (5 months for the bachelor program, 1 month break, and then 1 month for the MAcc), then do the CPA exams. It will be brutal but possible. I’d be careful with the study/sophia classes because as I did follow his advice and did as many as I could beforehand (including my economics class), my state CPA board even though they do recognize the general transferred credits, do not recognize my economics class as economics credit. So now I had to enroll in another university to get my necessary credits. 😅
