Im joining the air force right after i graduate high school. I'll be serving 22 years of active service. Im doing this because i feel that maybe in the military i just might be able to change at least one persons life for the better. Maybe even save a life. My family says that theres so many other things i can do that will make me successful. But its not about my own success. Its about honor, duty, and sacrifice. I'll be honoring other veterans in my family. Vietnam, korea, ww2, and ww1. These are wars that members of my family had served in. And i will honor them accordingly by serving our country myself. Not only will i strive to help others but I'll also use active service to better myself.
To all veterans who may be reading this- Thank you for your service, brothers and sisters in arms.
