With an amoled display, when the screen is black the pixels are off no matter if the phone is on or not

In order to attempt fix of burned in image one needs to understand how things work and clearly dude in this video does not. Amoled burn-in is caused by uneven wear of pixels and those pixels that have been used at brighter level the longest wear out first. So if you have static white navigation bar on the screen for a *very long time* chances are it'll leave darker burned in ghost image on the screen because those pixels have now worn out more than the rest. Fix would be turning off those darker pixels forming the ghost image and keeping rest of the pixels on at 100% brightness as long as they reach the same wear level, making the ghost image to disappear. Black amoled screen = all pixels off so it does nothing.

I just used a nightfilter and for some reason it actually helped fix it, i see little to no ghosting on my lgg5

but amoled screens does not display black colour. its just turned off. i dont know what that has to do with the burn-in screen but ok

My S8 has a pink line down the middle and an entire pink hue on the whole display while my iPhone X that I bought roughly the same time is also OLED but it has NO burn in at all.... therefore bought an LCD iPhone 11

I am using Samsung Note8 and GHOST SCREEN is the issue. I am curious what happens in your country when you give your device to the service because of the ghost screen.It is not a consumer based problem, they should clean their own shit. But do they chage your screen free or Do they say you you have to pay more? Write me please, thank you guys

If you're in the UK then burn in is fixed under the Samsung 2 year warranty. Had mine fixed in Croydon last week in under two hours.

My S7 Edge that i have since october, has now a burn in from the keyboard. It's pretty visible and annoying. Now i have changed the theme to get a black keyboard and avoid the problem to grow up

Navigation bar is the bottom where you have software buttons. Status bar is the top where you get notifications. You used the wrong mode.
