Ok, I get it's a game but moving equipment on trailers is super common. Some equipment even disassembles to make it fit.

It was the bad farming within SnowRunner (SR) that I started playing Farming Simulator 22 (FS22). If SR would implement two changes I think it would help.

1) This small of implements are normally attached to the three point hitch and are not trailed, so when one gets to the end of the field, one just needs to lift then spin around.

2) The turning radius of the same type of tractors are much tighter in FS22. It feels like the tractors in SR have a turning circle of a small moon rather than something like a semi.

So if there were three point implements and the turning radius was about half of current values, it would make farming better (well to me at least).

Real farmer here and there is a few things snow runner does differently from what I do IRL, the biggest one is that tractors should have way tighter turning circles. I also don't have 3 point hitches on any of my machines so usually as I make a corner I just make the inside edge of the implement pivot in place. As far as turning around at the ends of fields that is why we do something known as headland passes, for example if you are going North and South in a field you will turn early on each end and leave several passes that you later do East and West, this becomes a problem in stormworks because of the large turning radius, small fields and narrow implements. Combining these factors means you can end up covering more area during the headland passes than the regular passes defeating its purpose.

Old tractors didn't get nerfed, they got an overall buff. True getting to the field might be a bit slower now because you have to use low gears to use difflock but working on the actual field is much smoother as switchable difflock enables a much tighter turning circle, which was the biggest problem to begin with

Transporting machinery is more annoying on Glades, in Austria it's not that big issue as u have most of them close to field.

Bro, the best way to farm in snowrunner is big outside circles working your way in. Never have to use reverse this way and can be done without even knocking down a fence

The old tractors didn't get nerfed, diff lock was made switchable to improve turning

I liked farming in season 8 for first 4-5 times, then I hated it due to repeatability, but I really enjoyed it in season 14. Fields are made better and farming usually not required full three machines cycle. It was a good break from delivering cargo. Only one thing I disliked was towing these machines because Futom was very bulky and most of the time I was forced to use low gear to enable diff lock. Ankatra was faster, but insanely fuel thirsty so I used it for logging instead of farming... and for more variety and full use of every new vehicle

I agree yith you, farming isn't fun in snowrunner. I would prefer if I had to bring the tractor and all the machineries with big trailer to complete a task. Even in Farming Simulator, you can put a NPC to harvest the field. I'm saying that but I never but trucks/tractors on trailers because I don't think it's time saving^^
Devs said that farming will be better in Austria but I didn't work. It's just a lot smaller, you just have to work on 3 fields and that's it. When you compare that to the contract in Glades that requires 4 completes harvest of the field, it's just smaller no better.

To avoid tree or bad terrain when I'm farming, I don't go outside of the field. If the field is a rectangle, I usually try to reduce the long side by doing the end of each side.
To give a example in your video, at 4.36 I would start turning to not go outside the field
To be honest, I think that point is realistic because I see a lot of fields near my area that are like that but it's maybe not the best idea to implement it in a game.

Your content from Snowrunner is awesome! Keep up the good work! Also I like your accent a lot! Where are you from?

4:15 normally you do the headlands first so you can have more space to turno inside the field

You should definitely not farm like that. Instead of going up and down the field, you should be creating headlands and then doing the up and down farming. That way you will be able to avoid doing the U turns on the outside of the field and therefore, the trees and other near-field obstacles will not be as annoying.

Also, when doing the U turn, turn off the Diff Lock, it will shrink the turning radius and make it easier for you.

Hope this helps!

farming is a good and unique addirtion to game but it as some flaws that stops it from being a cool activity
We especialy need a trailer for trasforting farming equipmet attached to a tractor and being able to pack because that's what is done in real life

They should've left farming games to Giants Software.

Don’t you need to disconnect the trailer from the vehicle after driving up onto the transportation trailer? Once you disconnect you can then “pack” the truck and trailer as cargo.

Use the trike mod. It works, it's still not fun to drive long distance and you will need three trikes to take all the equipment and do the journey using one and then take two by towing two together to get there.

Drive a tractor in farming simulator that's more fun than in sr

What annoys me is that they nerfed the tractors, let's face it using a vehicle that CANNOT carry stuff on its own but only with a trailer sucks and no1 does it, why carry 2 slots of cargo with a tractor and a trailer when you can carry 4 with a truck and bed plus a trailer. The only usecase for tractors for cargo is when the terrain is rlly bad and it's where the always on diff used to make a difference but now tractors are horrendous trash not worth using anymore.
Farming was ok imo in the past season it just was overdone, i had nothing against doing it 2-3 times but when i got to the 7th or 8th field it was too much so i cheated and this is probably how everyone feels but now farming will be even shittier because you gotta do it slower in Low if you want to even use the diff which in the field terrain and with those heavy slow equipments behind you have to use the diff.
I wouldn't and don't have a thing against farming boring as it is if it's not overdone but nerfing the tractors was a bad move from the devs. What i wish they did was make an option in the upgrades to have always on diff or switchable, i know switchable makes turning better but still i liked always on for more consistency.

Still by far the biggest issue is the fact that the implements cannot be transported on trailers and such, that alone is what made me cheat in the last farming season because having to drag that stuff across 3 maps to get to the objective sucked.
