Otis Scenic Traction Elevator at the Westgate, Las Vegas, NV

This elevator is THE VERY LAST Otis Series 3 Touch Sensitive elevator in Las Vegas. It's also a scenic elevator and the highest scenic elevator I've ever ridden. This thing was unfortunately busy and I was very good at pushing lots of unnecessary stops that we really didn't need. I was going to take two rides, however that plan was changed when I saw the annoyed crowd of 30+ people on the ground floor. I hope to come back to this elevator sometime again. The Series 3 in here looks very nice; touch sensitive being quite a bonus! I still have yet to see a touch sensitive one. A bit glitchy, but still seems like fun elevators to ride. $29/night for this place? That's unheard of at any hotel over here!

Sadly, this might be getting modernized as when I came here about an hour ago, it was out of service.

I am likely going to Las Vegas in the later half of this year. Which buildings (hotels, office buildings, apartments, and other buildings) have security, and which buildings do not?

This elevator now requires a key card to call from the main floor. Did it require one when you were here? I don't think any of the other main elevators here are locked (in fact, this elevator is not locked from the upper floors), hopefully that doesn't mean they are about to add keycard readers to all of the elevators here. Sadly, this elevator was also very busy when I was here. I wonder if it would be less busy at night. I do love the fixtures though.
