In Africa, however, the high concentration of melanin amongst Africans has accounted for the widespread presence of deep brown-colored eyes.
In many scientific studies and a more recent one conducted by the Copenhagen University, the genetic mystery of "blue eyes" is said to have originated from the northeast coast of the Black Sea. I agree that blue, green, hazel, eyes are not from whites only, and not all whites have light eyes. My entire family on maternal and paternal side, have either of those colors including brown or copper penny color. These children are all beautiful even if they had brown eyes.
