The Toyota Land Cruiser and LX450s typically get after market roof racks, as they are obviously used mostly as overlanders these days and nned to carry extra gear, roff top tents and much more.
In this video, we compare the Prinsu and the Front Runner side by side.
The Front Runner does cost about 50% more at normal retail price.
At the time of this video, Prinsu is running a 15% off sale, which makes it almost half the price of a Front Runner.
Ultimately, depends on what look you like on your Rig!

I own Prinsu but I like front runner style more

The Prinsu looks bada$$ but the Front Runner is more functional and has a higher load capacity. I'm also not sure if the Prinsu's dynamic load limit can handle the weight of a RTT. The Front Runner exceeds the max limit of the LC80 roof load limit, so it's all good in that department. Plus it is far easier to clean the roof of your 4WD with the Front Runner as you can fit your arm beneath the cross bars. The Prinsu needs the roof rack to be empty in order to have access to clean the roof.

Both of those look like quality bits of kid. I've always really liked the Gamiviti racks. These two look like great options as well

I think prinsu distributes the weight much better having the entire length of the rack resting in the gutters

Have a prinsu on my 2015 Trail 4runner. Nothing but compliments by everyone. One downfall is accessories are expensive and was blown of twice by service rep when they sent wrong washers. It's solid and the low profile look I way better than the box look

The issue I see with any roof rack system is weight and gear mounted on the side being torn off on the trails. Here in the CA desert and mountains I have to fold in mirrors to prevent rock/tree outcroppings tearing them off. Both those systems look like an outstanding solution for carrying lightweight gear tucked inboard only.

Bowfin Cruisers FTW ;-) Hey but 15% off might change my mind..haha I like how the Prinsu and Bowfin are modular because I love using my sunroof. Thanks for the real-time comparison. Not sure why you would need more than 8 bars.. Isn't that Frontrunner that high because of the table option? I thought I saw someone have the lower option model. What concerns me as much as anything is the added wind noise. Can you guys comment on that please? And thanks for the 15% off link!

Prinsu all the way. Frontrunner is too noisy.

Prefer the prinsu because it looks more sleek. And is that a turquoise colored actiontrax!? 😱

Prinsu is formed to the LC. The FR looks like another bolt-on. sayin'. Prinsu wins.

Love the Prinsu. Adding that to my 91 LC when I have the funds. Thanks for the side by side! Great looking rigs!

Would like to see Delta vs Prinsu. Big fan of having the main support run in the rain gutter. Delta looks to be much more price wise.
