Roof Rack comparison

In this video we are comparing our Roof Rack to another companies roofrack and some of the differences that we I feel that our Roof Rack is more superior in quality, design and strength.

Both support brackets shown have a problem with leverage where they attach to the spacers. That's a bending moment that is on the attaching hardware going into the truck. That OEM mount is designed for a mount the disperses the load over a large area in a downward direction. Sherpa has a better mount interface with the roof of the vehicle.

Are you worried about steel on aluminum corroding because of dissimilar metals? Or should the powder coating protect it?

Are they strong enough to handle the weight of a 270° awning?

Wouldn't some simple gussets at the bend solve the issue of a weak point?

Sleek design, however the mounting bracket looks weak, especially when you off-roading with your rooftop tent on the swing force puts a lot stress on these brackets, would be nice to add gusset to add strength.
