i used to fill the polys by sampling two ends of the triangle then use the gradiant tool, but average blur is way much faster,

I have literally just completed a project using both Illustrator and Photoshop - that technique creates a bit more detailed image but as an easy way of creating the desired effect, this is once again, a fantastic tutorial.

Great tutorial s usual! Correct me if I'm wrong, if you double click from the last point before closing the polygon with the lasso tool, it will close it automatically. Be careful not to triple click it deselect.
